Audrey-Jade Salbo is a seasoned trial attorney with a focus on employment law and business litigation. Over the past decade, Ms. Salbo acquired extensive trial experience before both federal and local courts, as well as administrative
forums. Her dedication to her clients and litigation and trial skills is what sets her apart in the South Florida legal community. In February 2024, Ms. Salbo was honored by the Miami Dade Bar Young Lawyers Section as a “40 Under 40” Award Recipient.
Ms. Salbo began her career as an Assistant Public Defender in Miami where she tried numerous cases to verdict. After leaving the Miami Dade Public Defender’s office, Ms. Salbo worked for the largest minority and women owned law firm in the nation, where she successfully represented clients in various areas of law and in all stages of litigation, including by obtaining a complete defense verdict for a national leading independent grocer in a Fair Labor Standards Act action, a plaintiff verdict for two individuals in a whistleblower action against a South Florida municipality, and a defense award in favor of an attorney in a legal malpractice lawsuit in an arbitration proceeding.
Immediately prior to joining Perez Mayoral, P.A., Ms. Salbo worked in Biglaw representing employers across a wide range of industries with respect to various employment law matters, including those involving discrimination and harassment, wage and hour issues, wrongful termination, whistleblower and retaliation claims, and non-compete and restrictive covenant issues. She also advised managers, supervisors, and business owners on preventive litigation practices, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Ms. Salbo was a frequent and featured speaker on many subjects in the employment law field, including for organizations such as the Human Resource Association of Broward County and the Association of Corporate Counsel.
Ms. Salbo is heavily involved in the South Florida community. She is a graduate of FIU Law. While in law school, Ms. Salbo earned the CALI Book Award in Trial Advocacy. Shortly after graduation, Ms. Salbo served as a Trial Team Coach for the FIU Law Trial Team and successfully led the team to win the 2017 Hon. E. Earle Zehmer Memorial Mock Trial Competition. Ms. Salbo also served as a Director-at-Large for the FIU Law Alumni Association from 2017 to 2018 and has been heavily involved in the Miami Dade Bar Young Lawyers Section since 2020. She served as a Director for three years, the Section’s designated Pro Bono Chair from March 2020 until May 2021, and also led the Section as the Executive Board’s Secretary from May 2021 until May 2022. Ms. Salbo is also part of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers.

In her free time, Ms. Salbo enjoys spending time with her family (including her two Doodles, Rio and Yoko), traveling, yoga, and pilates. Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, she is also fluent in French.
