Audrey-Jade Salbo, Esq. is head of the employment law practice division and lead trial counsel at Perez Mayoral, P.A., where she leads all employment litigation for employers while also handling select employee and FLSA matters, complex commercial litigation, and business disputes. With over a decade of trial experience, she has recently secured significant victories in federal and state courts, including obtaining a complete defense verdict in a Fair Labor Standards Act action, a plaintiff verdict in a whistleblower case against a South Florida municipality, and a defense award in favor of an attorney in a legal malpractice arbitration proceeding.
Prior to joining Perez Mayoral, Ms. Salbo practiced at a large national law firm, where she focused on representing employers in matters involving discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, whistleblower claims, retaliation, and non-compete agreements. She regularly advised managers, supervisors, and business owners on litigation prevention and regulatory compliance and frequently spoke at employment law events for the Human Resource Association of Broward County and Association of Corporate Counsel.
Ms. Salbo began her career as an Assistant Public Defender in Miami, where she developed extensive trial experience. She later worked at the nation’s largest minority and women-owned law firm, successfully litigating employment and commercial matters through all phases. Her dedication to clients and exceptional litigation and trial skills have set her apart in the South Florida legal community, leading to her recognition in February 2024 as a “40 Under 40” Award Recipient by the Miami Dade Bar Young Lawyers Section.
A graduate of FIU Law, where she earned the CALI Book Award in Trial Advocacy, Ms. Salbo later coached the FIU Law Trial Team to victory in the 2017 Hon. E. Earle Zehmer Memorial Mock Trial Competition. She has been heavily involved in the Miami Dade Bar Young Lawyers Section since 2020, serving as a Director for three years, Pro Bono Chair from March 2020 until May 2021, and Executive Board Secretary from May 2021 until May 2022.
